Janet is

certified
Colorado
long-term
care
ombudsman
and has
been a
volunteer
ombudsman
with
DRCOG
(Denver
Regional
Council
of
Governments)
for 3
years,
working
at both
assisted
living
and
nursing
home
facilities.

Roberts
is an

consultant
and
community
mediator

experience

mediation/facilitation
in
community
organizations,
government
entities,
and
workplace
conflicts.
She has
been a
personal
coach
since
2000,
and is
also a
private
caregiver,
a

care
ombudsman,
and
volunteers
for a
skilled
nursing
facility.
Kelly
has been
a
volunteer
with the
Jefferson
County
Mediation
Program
since
1993,
and is a
certified
ombudsman
with the
Denver
Regional
Council
of
Governments.

Zapor
M.A.,
J.D.
is an
Attorney/Mediator
who
limits
her
practice
to Elder
Law and
Mediation
of
family
disputes.
Her
philosophy
is that
the goal
is to
keep the
elderly/disabled
person
at the
center
of the
discussion
and
promote/preserve
family
relationnships.
Ms.
Zapor
has
engaged
in
special
training
to
assist
the
elderly
and
disabled
persons
and
their
families
to make
decisions
in the
best
interest
of the
family
member.
She is
uniquely
qualified
to
assist
families
in
making
the hard
decisions
based
not only
on her
training,
but also
her
personal
experience
as a
care
giver
for her
family
members.
Families
facing
issues
including
driving
issues,
placement
in
assisted
living
and/or
nursing
homes,
guardianship
and
conservatorship
issues,
and
Alzheimer's
and
dementia
care,
can
benefit
from a
neutral
person
to
facilitate
the
discussion.
Her
commitment
to Elder
Mediation
includes
providing
services
for
families
at their

including
hospitals
and
nursing
homes,
or in
her
offices
throughout
the
Metropolitan
Denver
