Rose Mary Zapor M.A., J.D.  is an Attorney/Mediator who is a partner in Elder Mediation of Colorado, LLC with Edward Ladon, Ph.D. She limits her practice to Elder Law and Mediation of family disputes. The philosophy of Elder Mediation of Colorado LLC is that the goal is to keep the elderly/disabled person at the center of the discussion and promote/preserve family relationships. Ms. Zapor and Dr. Ladon have engaged in special training to assist the elderly and disabled persons and their families to make decisions in the best interest of the family member. Ms. Zapor is uniquely qualified to assist families in making the hard decisions based not only on her training, but also her personal experience as a care giver for her family members. Families facing issues including driving issues, placement in assisted living and/or nursing homes, guardianship and conservatorship issues, and Alzheimer's and dementia care, can benefit from a neutral person to facilitate the discussion. Her commitment to Elder Mediation includes providing services for families at their location, including hospitals and nursing homes, or in her offices throughout the Metropolitan Denver area, as well as Boulder, Brighton, Castle Rock, and Longmont.
