Sandy Krell-Andre, M.S.W. mediator since 1998, is trained in basic and advanced mediation skills, family mediation and elder care mediation.  She has also been a college instructor since 1991 and has a background in social work and chemical dependency counseling.  She works with Midland Mediation her practice focuses on family, elder care, workplace, and community mediation.  Midland Mediation also provides training in conflict resolution skills and diversity issues for a variety of businesses and nonprofit agencies. Located in Burlington, Iowa. www.midlandmediation.org.

Her practice specializes in family issues, including elder and estate mediation and conflict coaching. Andrea Becker, J.D. is a licensed attorney, mediator, teacher, mother of four and grandmother. She has been a trained mediator since 1997 and has mediated over 500 cases. Her practice focuses on community, workplace, education, child welfare, and elder cases.
 

Angela Crossin, J.D. is a licensed attorney who holds a Masters in Accounting. She is also a Certified Law Mediator, visiting professor at Purdue University, Certified Estate Advisor, and is pursuing a CPA certification.

 

Sherrod Deputy has been an advocate for individuals and their conflicts since 1981 when she co-founded the Victim-Witness Program for Elkhart County, Indiana. As of 1997, she has been sole proprietor of her mediation practice, using conflict resolution methods to resolve problematic issues. Sherrod is licensed in both Arizona and Indiana.

 

Mary J. Hoeller, R.N., J.D. is a Registered Nurse/Attorney who has previously worked in nursing homes. She has practiced in the area of civil litigation for over twenty years. She is a trained family law and eldercare mediator, and has mediated pre-divorce and guardianship issues. Mary is an Eldercare lawyer and prepares wills, trusts and other estate planning documents.

 

Naomi A. Kauffman, J.D. has been a practicing attorney since 1977. She is licensed in California, Kansas and Missouri. Naomi has been a trained mediator since 1989. Her law practice includes family law, probate and estate planning and mediation. Naomi is a former adjunct professor at the University of Missouri/Kansas City School of Law.

 

Stanley Majka has been a filmmaker for more than 25 years bringing difficult issues to light on screen. While doing that work, he encountered mediation. Stanley is trained and certified as a mediator and volunteer with the Center for Conflict Resolution, Chicago. He is currently a trainer and mediator in private practice in Chicago and sits on the board of directors of the Mediation Council of Illinois and co-chairs the public awareness committee of the Association for Conflict Resolution, Chicago chapter.

 

Linda Ochsenfeld, Linda is an attorney and elder care mediator.  Her mediation style allows participants to have the conversations they need to preserve their family and personal relationships.  She has mediated for Medicare beneficiary and guardianship programs, the Postal Service, and TSA, and has served hospice patients and homebound seniors in her law practice.
 

 
 

Steven Sovern, J.D. has been a full-time professional mediator for 12 years, a trainer of mediators for 5 years and a lawyer and business person for 35 years prior to becoming full-time mediator. In addition to family mediation, he has a full spectrum of mediation experience including workplace, business, civil, insurance, environmental, victim/offender, etc, and is involved in elective office and other public service positions. Steve has been called upon as mediator in more than 3,000 mediations.
